Computerization

With the application of information technology there has been a major change in the dimension of the curriculum and information services. For effective utilization of resources and resource sharing, the whole campus is now computerized and integrated into local networks, with 10 MBPS WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS. WiFi connectivity covering the entire polytechnic college premises is the recent improvement. We modernize manage and Provide satisfactory technical assistance of computational facilities for the students, faculties and departments.

Projects

The institution runs the following funded programs for the benefit of the under privileged women and the rural masses of the region.

Women in Development Cell

In order to develop the girl students and women we were organizing lot of need based training programs and general awareness programs in the areas like self sanitization, health awareness, environmental awareness, cleanliness, self help group motivation and etc.

Entrepreneurship and Management Development Cell

This scheme is sanctioned by AICTE, New Delhi and is launched in our college with a view to encourage students to consider self employment as a career option, provide training in Entrepreneurship through modular courses and increase the relevance of management particularly in the non-corporate and under managed sectors.

Community Development through Polytechnic Cell

Envisaged and nominally funded by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India, this Scheme mainly focuses its attention on the school dropouts. Besides major activities such as socio-economic survey, Transfer of technology, Technical services, support services and dissemination of information of the scheme for development of rural community, selected students are provided with useful apprenticeship training so that they may either seek jobs or stand on their own legs. Tailoring, Toys making, Wiring and Welding are some of the training programmes which have become so popular among the takers.

Industry Institute Partnership Cell

This Cell successfully running in our institution from January 2010. The main services are

• Signing MOU with Industries
• Arranging industrial visits for the students
• Arranging seminars, workshops & career guidance programme for the students and staff
• Sending the students for in-plant training.
• Crating Technical & Science awareness through Science Exhibitions and Technical Symposiums.

 

Canada India Institutional Cooperation Programs

It is a brainchild of an alien soil namely Canada. Originally it was well thought perfectly implemented plan. The success of this scheme was so overwhelming that the Indian government has presently adopted this name and scheme. This scheme paves a number of ways to generate funds so that the institution concerned becomes financially independent. Gold appraiser training, Cell phone servicing, beautician training are some of the worth mentioning special courses that attract a number of students.

Sports

The physical director coordinates the sports activity with utmost care as only good sports men are more competitive and sportive in our society. Our students come out with flying colors in inter polytechnic sports meets.

The institution supports variety of social extracurricular activities for students which develops ones qualities which in turn moulds our rural society.
