A proud moment of happy to share with you all. Our Pattukkottai Polytechnic College celebrated International Literacy Day on 3rd ,6th & 7th of September 2019.

   Thiru SDS. SELVAM B.E, B.L Correspondent of our College presided over the programme, in presence of Thiu V.MUTHUVELU ,Principal of our institution.

    In the first day,Literacy awareness campaign was held at Kuruvikarambai Govt. Higher Secondary School students.

   In the second day, Thiru GLADSTONE PUSHPARAJ, IAS Sub Collector of Pattukkottai inaugurated the exhibition of Antique Cars & Bikes, Robots and Modern Construction Materials and he delivered his special address.

   About 15,000 students of various schools, colleges and more number of public in and around Pattukkottai were visited in the programme.

   Spontaneously, to popularize the literacy significance, the following competitions were conducted among various school students.

• Quiz Competition
• Drawing Competition
• Science and Technology Exhibition

    Nearly 420 students were participated from various schools of Pattukkottai, Orathanadu and Mannargudi Educational districts. Thiru. JAYAPAL, DEO of Pattukkottai presented the prize to the winner students.

   In third day,Regional level technical paper presentation competition for polytechnic college students was conducted. There were 220 students from Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Pudukkottai & Nagappatinam districts presented their technical papers. The winner students were awarded cash and certificates.

   Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering and Indian Society for Technical Education student’s chapter of the college organized the Programme.
